Last night was my first practice with the youth worship team. I’d say it went pretty well, but we still have a way to go in developing chemistry and flow. I’m also used to running a pretty tight practice, which is not the case yet with these guys, but that was expected. At some point, we will be able to get through 5-6 songs in two hours (including new songs), but last night we only made it through 3, none of which were new… *shrugs* … in time.

Ideal Line-up for this Sunday:
INTRO: The Fight Song - Sanctus Real
Worship Set:
Your Grace is Enough
Revealed - (couple of guys in the band wrote this… very good)
You are my King (Amazing Love)
Reflective (end of service):
Where the Love Lasts Forever

We got the worship set down. We will revisit You Are My King at the end of service… and if we can roll through the set easily at sunday morning practice, we will try to do Winds of Change by Kutless as the intro song.  Most of the musicians are already familiar with Winds of Change, but we haven’t officially learned it yet.

Good times. (I never know how to end these things)
