If I were single… heck… if I was childless even, I’d have a custom made neon sign with the words “Entering The gSpot” with some sweet looking “gSpot” logo right inside the door to my garage.
My garage is not your typical garage because my wife is not your typical wife. Lets take a quick tour of the gSpot.
1 – Game Room: Complete with a Pool Table and Foosball Table. Soon to add Darts as well
2 – Gym: I’m not the buffest guy and I could stand to lose a few pounds… and then stand put a few more back on with muscle, so my home gym is set up out here as well. It’s nothing fancy. A bench with leg accessories, assorted dumbbells and a medicine ball. (And yes, i do actively use this stuff). And, heck I even have a wall that is mostly mirrors.
3 – Guys Room: TV with DVD player coming soon so I can throw on some of my Concert DVDs that I rarely get to watch while shooting pool or working out. The walls (will be) lined with sports memorabilia from my childhood and beyond. I’d like to get some soccer jerseys, frame them up and put them on the walls as well. We’ll see.
4 – Garage: I could’ve gone with “Garden Tool Storage Area” but that’s not very manly. Even with all this other stuff, it still functions as a typical garage. Lawn equipment, lots of storage room, poor lighting, hot and humid, dirty floors, tools floating around, etc. Only no room for a car.
As you can see, all the roles start with G. I thought it was an ingenious name, but alas, my wife talked me out of it. Can you imagine the confusion and hilarity that would ensue when I invite our guests to find pleasure in our gSpot? Oh well.
Back to the drawing board as far as names go.
