The Gift…

My sis wrote of a touching experience in Ukraine and it’s pretty timely considering this is the season for gifts! Gifts all around!

If you like mission work, you will like this story. If you are indifferent, perhaps this story short story will show you some of the effect it could have. The following is called a teaser in the radio biz (which i wouldn’t know anything about cause my two lazy attempts in radio failed. perhaps thats where the “lazy” adjective comes into play.. i digress):

… One girl grabbed my hand and held tightly by my side the entire morning. We could not communicate with words, but it didn’t matter. All she wanted was my love and attention… About half way through the day, she figured out that I was married. As quickly as she learned this, she ran over to Josh, with me in tow, and grabbed onto His hand. With a big, toothy smile she gazed up into our eyes and called us “mama” and “papa”. For a day, she had a family….

Read it all and then support them with prayers and money… or just prayers and send me the money… or keep the money… but at least bookmark the dang site…
