… i’ve been asking myself lately. If you have read this far, you must answer at least one… or else… :

* Why was I cheering for Eli Manning Sunday night?

* Why are most of the objects in our bathroom at work reflective? The tiles act almost like mirrors… it makes me quite uncomfortable at times.

* Is it weird to be suddenly really into ancient history? Will that carry over as the history class progresses towards the present?

* Is a job search worth it? The whole process of finding a new job sucks. The atmosphere and flexibility here is pretty decent. It’s a long freakin’ drive though, and lots of management changes with the recent major merger might make it difficult to get the pay increase that matches the value… but the market isn’t that great really, anyway.

Do I look for a job in a field more geared towards my heart rather than one geared towards financial stability of my family? Following my heart hasn’t always worked out so cleanly…

* At what point does “waiting” become “stagnating”?

I think that about covers it…

  1. why does seeing yourself make you uncomfortable? Maybe that’s the question. :)

Why not spend some time researching the market for jobs within what you’re doing now and weigh it against the effort it would take to switch? You’ ll do well in whatever you decide to do. :)

  2. Most objects are reflective so they can look clean. If they were all dull and non reflective they would appear dirty. Also, most reflective things are non-porous, therefore leaving less places for bacteria and germs to congregate and multiply.

You were cheering for Eli Manning to subliminally irritate me.

Stagnating is when you stop being conscious of opportunities and searching for God’s leading on things.

Job search…does your boss still read this?

  3. re: Amy - Its not so much seeing myself… see, guys stand right beside each other… thats what makes me uncomfortable…

re: Blake - boss may or may not… probably not so much…. and i get your reflective explanation, but i have never noticed any other restroom quite as reflective as this one… its a conspiracy

  4. i am in awe at blake’s response…wow. i agree with amy about the job thing…that’s my answer to that question. and, i don’t think it’s weird to be suddenly interested in anything. it’s a really good thing especially since you have another civ class after this one.

  5. In awe….why?

  6. it just seems like such an in depth answer concerning reflective things. never thought about it so much.
