“Christmas” music…
some of it is AWESOME! Like the instrumental stuff. Most of it is trash. Stop it. Please.
I’m not a scrooge, but honestly, when else would you listen to this crap and like it? Never. I know some of you will say “all year if they let me!” No, you wouldn’t. Case in point: How many non-Christmas CHIPMUNK ALBUMS do you have? … ZERO! (and if you didn’t know they had other albums other than Christmas, than you just proved my point, thanks)… but during Christmas it’s suddenly good? no it’s not.
Stop it… please.

Have you listened to Sufjan Stevens christmas collection? Look for his christmas album: Songs for Christmas. Its good stuff, in my opinion.
just listen to 94.9 KLTY…they’re “keeping the THANKS in Thanksgiving” so no christmas music for another couple of weeks…course you have to listen to their continuous proud announcement of such…and the music may not be any better
re: KLTY - and i’d have to hear 40 minutes of commercials every hour.
I just want to thank you for putting “Christmas comes just once a year” by the chipmunks in my head for the next 4 months. great.

I find it ironic how you posted your blog in green and red! Gee, did that music get you thinking about Christmas? lol The power of persuasion!
frosty the snow man just came on… how is that fun for adults? like when my kids are around, we’ll sing and goof around with these songs… but c’mon…
some say we should never grow up. That’s why i play video games a lot, though… i dont need kids Christmas carols to keep me young.
But really, isn’t that what the season is really all about (aside from spiritual matters). Christmas changes when you’re an adult and loses some of it’s luster. You are enjoying Christmas (okay, maybe just me) more because of the experience you are giving your children, and because you are nostalgic about your childhood Christmases. right? Suck it up and turn it up, Dude. Maybe even sing along.
(I wonder if Casting Crowns has put out any new Christmas stuff lately).
BTW, I saw Hannah Montana christmas stockings this morning. I threw up in my mouth a little bit.
