Wow, since Psychology ended, i’ve been rolling through books. If you REALLY wanted to, you could keep up with me at GoodReads (click the new banner to the right). When I picked up Stand For The Best last night I was on page 59 of 189. My goal was to finish before Saturday so I could return it to the library and pick up something [...]
From the perfect heart of God through the pierced heart of Christ into the broken heart of man… LOVE FLOWS.
- From a series of thoughts that awoke me at 3:30 this morning
Heard recently around the dinner table…
Four Year Old (4YO): What did you have for lunch today daddy?
Me: Lucky’s where I get it for free!
4YO: Why you get it free?
Me: Because i’m so AWESOME!
4YO: (giggles) but daddy… You’re FAT!
… (silence with exception of her maniacal laughter) …
Me: (dejected) So… you can’t be fat and awesome?
4YO: (with conviction) NO!
… (more laughter) …

Quick stats and story: Born @ 3:53 PM on March 16th, 2009, 7lbs 14 Oz, 21 Inches.
There isn’t much to the delivery story, but every birth is a miracle, so I must give it it’s due. Last Thursday Dionna and I met with the doctor after 4 [...]

Once you get past the slightly confusing depiction that causes you to think that maybe the guy in the middle (representative, in this case, of you or [...]
Dionna is officially full term (38 weeks) and we are ready to get that kid out of that woman! Sure, technically she has two weeks left, but this has been a long and rough pregnancy. I honestly thought it might happen this weekend, but no luck. If the baby comes on her own it will be a completely new experience for all of us as [...]
