I know there is an update coming in the summer to fix some of these, but this is one of the reasons why when people ask me “why blackberry?” (as opposed to an iPhone) my response is always “A iPhone is a toy, a blackberry is practical and useful…” (well, that and I am not with AT&T).
And really, there are several other “functions” of an iPhone that closely resemble that of a stone, but these are the most complained about 
Jeremy: This is good information. The reason I feel guilty about this. When my sister was in town with her daughter during my husband’s long hospital stay last year. The both of them came up to help me after John was finally doing better and I was needing (according to my family…to get out and live). Well, one of the suggestions was going to the mall. Well, I had this AT&T Treo that I hated…I could never get my calls and when I did the phone would just drop off. I had several (3) replacements. My niece made the suggestion why don’t we check out your contract. Mine was not due for renewal but John’s was….so guess what I did…I did. Well to make a long story short…now mine us due and he trying figure out what phone to get. He has never had a problem with his treo and utilizes all the functions provided, which I didn’t. Well, his birthday is coming up. He told me the only thing he would like to have for his birthday, is a new phone (a course he enjoys making me feel bad because I used his contract..he’s having fun with it!!) He’s been looking at the Iphone and blackberry and trying to decide which one he should get. I will definitely take him to this site…I like your graphics and explanation on your frustrations on what you are having to deal with. P.S. I realize this does help you at all. But do you see the value with the information you provided to the rest of us… LOL…you do…I’m just being silly. Miss ya. Play some of my ‘quiet music’ collections I loaned you for your wife and children. Please only the quiet stuff!!
Um…the iPhone is a sleek and sexy toy. You forgot sleek and sexy. It goes without saying with nearly all Apple products but I just thought I’d mention it.
P.S. – Blackberry sucks. The operating system is slow as dirt, the browser is clunky, the app store is a joke, and even if i wanted to enjoy it like a toy, i’d have to have 4 hours set aside just to launch an application…
but, it does integrate well with google, which is my chamber maiden of technology. I’ll upgrade to an Android/Google phone soon enough.
