Work is freaking insane right now, so I don’t have time to say much lately. I’ll be rolling here soon though, as we’re canceling cable and I’ve gotta get focused for school, which means less extra-curricular stuff and generally helps my blog activity … yes, you heard right:
The journey to higher education so I can be smarter than all you fools continues tomorrow: World Civ II, with assignment one due at beginning of class. As of now, I am ahead. Call me in a week though, i’ll be behind probably.
Business Math starts in two weeks (online). The first chapter of the book is entitled “whole numbers” … excuse my sweaty palms, i’m not sure i can handle whole numbers. /sarcasm … I’ve gotta believe we’ll be well past whole numbers by the end of the first week. I’m actually looking forward to some of the later content which could help with several financial things we need to get under control. I’m a closet math fan. Ask my wife, I actually create spreadsheets for some of my online games that helps me determine the efficiency of… oh geeze, never mind. If you ask me, i’ll just say “math sucks!”

So, I had this great plan… Take friday off to have a 4 day weekend… wake up early to make my famous breakfast tacos for my family… all that jazz…
Instead I get a call at 2:30 AM from my work. I’m On Call this week; i’ve gone through quite a few On Call weeks without any calls, so I actually totally forgot I was on call… It was quite the rude awakening, especially since I stay up until 1 knowing I could get some rest today…
So I was back in bed by 3:15 and sleeping soundly until 4:30 AM when I got another call. Back in bed around 5:00. Headache ensued… and remains… I am off today, but I didn’t get up and make the girls breakfast.
We’ll see how the rest of the day off goes… At least my college football team didn’t lose 45-0 on national tv.

To Catch My Drift.
- I’m so friggin’ tired today… but i didn’t even stay up that late. Maybe it’s because a text message that a friend sent me at 7 PM didn’t show up on my phone until 3:30 AM and woke me up…
- I’m about as bored with the conference finals as I have ever been. SAS v Utah just annoys me cause i hate the spurs. Cle v Det is ugly, annoying, ridiculously bad basketball. I like defense and all, but i can’t get into it.
- No matter how close the game is, Cle never looks like they have the cojones to actually win the game.
- In February, we averaged 100$ a month in gas. Now, it’s $300 per month. The move cost us more than we thought. Still the right decision though (but still a buck and a half less than Vic pays).
- Los posted a crazy intense video. Crocs, Lions and Buffalos all fighting at once. It’s long but worth it… oddly emotional as well.
- I wish my school stuff would be finalized. They’re waiting on transcripts from community college.
- If I have less than 12 there is a problem but it can be resolved with SAT scores and HS transcripts.
- If “Bowling” doesn’t transfer, i guess i’ll bust out my SAT scores.
- The best thing about cancelling Worship Practice is thursday night is MLS night on ESPN. Juan Pablo Angel certainly showed he still has it (2 Goals and an Assist). He’s gonna dominate this league.
- First Place FC Dallas is on national tv again tomorrow night. They’re a totally different team since Sala came back from suspension.
- I’m totally going to see Beckham for my birthday June 9th. I need a babysitter, but i’ll find one.
- The worst thing about cancelling worship practice is the fact that it’s cancelled.
- Oh, we’re going acoustic again this week. We really need to strengthen / deepen our talent pool. We have a very talented team, but we have no back ups or replacements.
- I’m pretty excited about the set, acoustic or not. But i’ll keep you in suspense until the worship confessional.
- Work is annoying the tar out of me the past few weeks. I’m like a firefighter and firestarter all in one. If i’m not putting them out, i’m told i need to start them.
- I’m so undefeated in foosball. The wife almost beat me yesterday but I came back down 7 - 4 to win 10-9. She’s getting pretty decent.
- I need a music budget, but can’t right now. Send iTunes money if you love me. There are many worship albums I’m missing out on.

Work has been busy. We had people out and I back up basically everyone, so I was doing two people’s jobs, sometimes three. Therefore, slow on posts since most of my posts are done while slacking at work. Anyway, I plan on filming worship confessional numero 4 tonight and posting it tonight. Until then, here’s a video i sliced together last week. (footage from about 3 months ago).
